Dynamic Feeds is a business that offers a unique service to its clients by combining science, technology, and nutrition. They came to BRU Graphic Design with a clear idea of what they wanted their brand and image to look like, but they needed help from a professional to make it happen. The main goal of this project was to make a new logo that would keep the brand’s look consistent while also being current and usable on many different platforms.
To keep their brand consistent, Dynamic Feeds specifically asked that their original fonts be used in the redesign of their name. They wanted all future logos that used their name to look and feel the same. It was my job to make a scalable vector version of their current logo, complete with the unique wordmark and symbol, so it could be used both online and in print without losing its clarity.
Finding the original fonts used in the logo again was the first step in the project. This was a key request from the client. I did a lot of studies to find the right fonts and redraw the logo’s wordmark, which now includes the Apple icon that is associated with the brand. To make sure the logo could be shrunk without losing quality or detail, each part was rebuilt in vector format.
To make sure that the new logo would have the same visual effect as their old branding, the colors from the original design were carefully matched. This meant making files that were best for both the web (RGB format) and printing (CMYK format).
The new logo not only met the client’s needs but also made the company more adaptable to different formats. The client was very happy, especially with how consistent their new name was and how well it fit with their plans for the future of their brand. Because this partnership went so well, more work was done on the Dynamic Asset Group as a whole.
