Case Study: Dynamic Asset Group – Engineering a Scalable Visual Ecosystem
Project Overview
The Dynamic Asset Group, a multidisciplinary organization merging science, technology, and nutrition, required a complete visual modernization. Starting with the core division, Dynamic Feeds, the project evolved into a massive undertaking to unify eight distinct business sectors under one cohesive brand architecture.
The Challenge: Digital Archeology
The project began with a significant technical hurdle: the client lacked the original source files and font information for their existing brand.
The Font Hunt: I conducted extensive research to identify the legacy typography used in the original branding.
Reconstruction from Scratch: Once identified, I meticulously redrew the entire wordmark and the signature Apple icon in vector format.
Legacy Preservation: The goal was to ensure the new assets were technically perfect and scalable while remaining 100% consistent with the brand’s established identity.
The Solution: A Strategic Multi-Industry System
To support the group’s expansion, I developed a modular “Parent-Child” brand system. Each division was assigned a specific color palette to reflect its industry, all anchored by the unified Han Solo Regular and Futura LT typography.
| Division | Primary Color | Brand Values & Focus |
|---|---|---|
| Dynamic Products | Green | Growth, innovation, and product-focused development. |
| Dynamic Services | Blue | Professionalism, dependability, and trust in IT, Transit, and Client Services. |
| Dynamic Production | Orange | Energy, creativity, and high-quality manufacturing forward-motion. |
| Dynamic Support | Red | Passion, excellence, and consumer-driven innovative solutions. |
The “Glue”: Typography & Vector Precision
Vector Reconstruction: I meticulously redrew the original wordmarks and the signature Apple icon in vector format. This ensured that the logos remained crisp and legible whether printed on a massive transit vehicle or viewed as a small digital favicon.
Media Optimization: Every asset was delivered in both RGB (Web) and CMYK (Print) formats to ensure color accuracy across all physical and digital platforms.
The Final Handover: The Master Brand Manual
To ensure the long-term integrity of the reconstruction, I produced a comprehensive Brand Manual. This guide acts as the definitive rulebook for the group, covering:
Proportional Integrity: Strict rules against logo distortion or unauthorized effects like shadows.
Color Accuracy: Precise RGB and CMYK codes to ensure the new “Dynamic” colors remain consistent across digital screens and physical print.
Application Best Practices: Guidelines for placing logos on clean backgrounds to maintain maximum visual impact.
The Result
The Dynamic Asset Group now operates with a high-fidelity, professional brand system that is fully prepared for future expansion. By recovering the brand’s DNA and rebuilding it in a scalable format, I have provided the client with a visual asset library that functions across all media without loss of quality.
