The Challenge: The “High-Resolution” Illusion
Bear Force Security had a logo they loved. Generated via ChatGPT, it was a sharp, aggressive badge-style design that looked perfect on their computer and mobile screens.
Then, the logo had to be printed.
The problems started appearing when they commissioned a 3m x 3m gazebo for a high-profile event.
When the file reached the production team, the verdict was immediate: Unprintable.
The technical hurdle
Bear Force reached out on a Friday afternoon with a critical deadline: the files had to be in production by Monday morning to make the cutoff for their event.
While AI upscaling tools offer a “quick fix,” they often introduce “artifacts”—wobbly lines and muddy color shifts. At a size of 3 meters, those imperfections become glaringly obvious. To resolve this, there is only one professional standard: a manual redraw.
The Solution
Using CorelDRAW, I rebuilt the brand assets from the ground up:
- Manual Path Tracing: Re-drawing every curve and anchor point by hand. This ensures the design is flawless and retains its shape even in wireframe mode (with the color turned off).
- Color Standardization: Converting digital RGB values (web colors) into precise CMYK profiles (print colors). This ensures the final printed fabric matches the client’s vision exactly.
- Typography Alignment: Identifying and matching the exact font weights for a crisp, authoritative finish that commands attention.
The Result
From a Static Image to a Corporate Asset
By Sunday evening, Bear Force moved from a low-resolution JPG to a production-ready vector suite.
Unlike the original AI output, a vector file can be scaled to the size of a billboard without losing a single degree of clarity. The lack of feedback from the printers was the ultimate success metric—it meant the files were technically perfect.
Bear Force now holds a permanent, indestructible corporate asset suitable for everything from business cards to large-scale signage.
