Central Park Hand Signal Signs

Interstate Bus Lines (IBL) planned to improve its Central Park depot in 2022 by implementing unique signage that would tell commuters about the hand signals they should use to indicate their preferred bus routes. Pieter from BRU Graphic Design was asked to create these signs, which illustrate the required hand gestures for effective communication with bus drivers.

Pieter used CorelDRAW to develop the graphics, which included high-quality pictures taken by Pieter Bruwer Photography. Pieter used his mobile studio to acquire excellent studio images on-site, assuring the signage’ authenticity and relevancy.

After the designs were finished, they were sent to IBL in 300dpi print-grade files. These signs are now prominently displayed at the Central Park depot in Bloemfontein, assisting passengers and enhancing the overall efficiency of the bus operation.
